Before we begin I wish to state here and now that I DO NOT speak for Easy Company Militia, nor do I speak for the majority of the We The People Leadership; but what both these communities have in common is the freedom for citizens to express themselves. I speak only as a 'pop gun' America Soldier of no consequence, I speak only as an insignificant but loyal American; I speak only as an American who believes in America First.

Currently in Public Congress there is a [Discussion] WAM Tax Rebate Program thread, a subject I feel as a Congress Member is simply beating a long dead horse; a program by which after meeting certain standards any Private Military Unit (PMU) willing to become -more or less- a Division of the United States Armed Forces (USAF) may get reimbursed a portion of their daily Work as Manager (WaM) tax which currently is at 12%.

A program similar in nature to the old Office of Militia Support (OMS), now this Original Post (OP) was started June 6, 2012 -I include the date out a warped sense of the ironic; and here we are today still beating that same dead horse. It is now 2607 of the New World and eRepublik is seven years old and we need to move forward, yet here we are once again pushing a system instituted three years again and which failed; why are we debating restarting a program that has been soundly rebuffed by almost every Private Military Unit (PMU).

Proudly I can say that Easy Company Militia PMU has refused and I hope will continue to refuse any such refund, it is my hope that Easy will again lead the way into the future by once again showing that privatization works; government intervention doesn't -as if the Weekly Leaderboard didn't already prove that. As America moves into Year 8 of this social game we all play, a game some would have you believe is dying; it is my firm belief that if America and the rest of this fabulous game community do not learn to socialize -'they' will be right and it will die.

I want to publicly welcome all the new Citizen Soldiers who have joined eRepublik and will give you some advice; join Easy Company Militia. SAVE GOLD.  Read the Easy Company Military Fitness Academy (MFA) -consider it your 'Bible'- and I also highly recommend joining the MFA and can not say that enough, my recent graduation from that program has caused me to look back and realize how important it was to my early development. I know this is a War game, but do not fight unless called up; you'll thank me later. Join the Screamin' Eagles Forum, the best Military Community in America; the most important thing for a new citizen soldier to understand is you gotta get involved. I guarantee you will find a home with the Free Soldiers of Easy Company Militia and while Easy Company Militia tries to remain apolitical -which ain't easy- I would also recommend you join a Political Party; personally I do not care which one but join one of the Top 5 parties.
