Before we begin I wish to state here and now that I DO NOT speak for anyone except myself; I speak only as a 'pop gun' America Soldier of no consequence, I speak only as an insignificant but loyal American; I speak only as an American who believes in America First. As always I encourage each and everyone of you to get involved, but always remember to THINK FOR YOURSELF.

Anytime I or someone else claims that eRepublik is a Social Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (SMMORPG or a Smorpg the P being silent) most citizens will crinkle their nose like I just cut the cheese in public and most will think to themselves, 'I didn't come here to play make believe, I came here to play another dull mechanical game I can never win.' That one fact, the fact that this 'Smorpg' can never be won in the sense the game is over makes it a 'real life simulator'; so unless you are Charlie Sheen you ain't winning this game!

The only thing that never changes is change itself. Even now I feel the breeze of free thought gently moving across America, I feel a small shift -a crack if you will- in the 'Wall of Silence' that is the current government; I sense a foreboding in the fact that it seems Wild Owl has not passed the torch of Dictatorship to the elected Country President (CP) and continues to pull the strings of power. I wish to see the Department of Interior (DoI) and the Department of Education (DoE) fully funded with a Budget Line to support such fine programs as [eRep]Bewbs 4 Newbs!, I wish to see the United States Armed Forces defunded and privatized; again I speak only for myself however I believe the Socialist Freedom Party wants the same.

I also sense a slight shift in political power and maybe I am just a Tin Hatter, but I believe America was told that Congress would function as always once the 'Defensive Dictator' was install; is there anyone out there that believes that is true today? Sadly I do and that is the point. I highly recommend to ALL citizens -especially our new citizens- reading SAR97's fine article The Black Sheep Party and It's Guide!, in it he mentions the a vote on Lowering the work tax 2% from 10% to 8% of April-May 2014; which was defeated by a single vote; now I remember that vote so I went looking for it. Opps. Guess what? Seems everything previous to this post: [Proposal] Lower Work Tax to 10% was lost when the pay site was forced to migrate to another server; huge portions of America's history was lost due that gaff and any proof of malfeasance on the part of wrong doers.

Last I heard America had a 'War Chest' in the neighborhood of 20,000,000 cc, I even recently saw that the USAF has a 1,000,000 cc reserve and yet the government wants to retain a 8% tax rate so they may 'save' even more; in fact a [Vote] Lowering the work tax to 6% was recently voted down by 1 vote -but apparently not without some controversy about early closure and with no indication as to the number of votes needed for Quorum.

Currently in Congress the Socialist Freedom Party's own Artela has opened a [Discussion] Tax and Spend policies, take 2, I strongly suggest that every new citizen read that discussion; sadly even though it is the PUBLIC Congressional Proceedings Forum any interaction with your Congressional Representatives must first be approved. Over the last 2+ years what the government and many, many prominent 'tanks' have claimed is that any citizens below D3 and D4 were insignificant, in one breath we are told that America should spend the bulk of its tax revenue to arm these divisional tanks at the expense of lower divisions; in the very next breath we are told that America needs a National Military Unit (NMU), the United States Armed Forces (USAF); which will be loyal and follow Presidential Orders.

What I glean from this thread is that rather than actually funding such 'government programs' as the Department of Interior (DoI) or the Department of Education (DoE) they wish to keep funding a NMU filled with D1 and D2 citizens who are 'insignificant', a unit which only becomes 'significant' with a 320,000 CC Monthly Budget to pay out in Combat Orders; a cost which is sucked up by D3 and D4 'tanks'  looking for Freedom Fighter Medals or worse to win Battle Hero Medals on both sides of the fight with no loyalty to anyone.

One of the many reason new citizens leave is they can not fight, after all this is a 'War Game' and if you can't fight why come back. I started this article talking about role playing in eRepublik, a function that every Old Guard citizens will foofoo while playing a 'meta game' based on eRepublik Mechanics on the eUSA Forums; they role play that they actually care about retaining new citizens and yet deny them the very arms and wellness to fight. One such Old Guard citizen Colin Lantrip recently asked why America is Encouraging lower divisions not to fight, I do not know how Colin stands on any issue; but why encourage them to fight and then deny them that ability?
