@Franklin - Let's say you are playing a game. Let's say you can choose to be "Red" or "Blue". Let's say that "Red" gets a 15% bonus on each move. Let's say that "Blue" doesn't get any bonus at all. Now let's say that someone says, "I'm picking 'Blue' because I HATE the color "Red".

I mean, nobody would stop that person from playing "Blue", but one could assume that the person was not truly interested in winning the game.

There are certainly a few people who love winning as the underdog. That's great. But when the rules of the game hand you a legal advantage, you take it.

Having a Benevolent Dictatorship as the Executive Office of our Parliamentary Democracy is the legal advantage.

Another thing I'll say is this: to those who want to try and model eUSA after USA as much as possible and call that the highest good, let's make a list of all the things you'd have to be doing differently:

1 - We'd need to split Congress into two branches, an eHouse of eRepresentatives and an eSenate. It is totally unRLamerican of us to be carrying on like this in a Parliament-type of government when what we REALLY need is to pass some laws establishing a two-branch Congress. We ought to be ashamed of ourselves.

2 - We'd need to be electing our House members by region within each State. In order to do this we'd have to pass a bunch of Districting laws in meta, dividing up each state into pieces based on citizenship, which of course we'd have to figure out how to deal with because everyone is constantly moving around all the time.

3 - We'd need to do something similar to establish the Senate, passing meta laws to figure out how many Senators each state gets to send. We'd also have to pass similar measures every time we conquer a foreign region.

4 - We would need to work on a meta-electoral-voting system. Because this garbage of having 5 parties run primaries and then endorse their chosen candidate ingame is TOTALLY UNrlAMERICAN.

5 - We need a Supreme Court. The very idea of us trying to be eUSA without an eSupreme Court is blasphemous.

5 - OMG why are we such good friends with eRussia? Does anyone understand what is going on in that part of the RL world right now? We need to break ties with them ASAP until RL Putin is tamed. Otherwise we should be ashamed of our eSelves.

6 - I won't belabor my point (any more than I already have).

It is completely arbitrary to say that we cannot use certain game mechanics because our digital country is called the same as our RL country. We have to play THIS GAME. THIS GAME has stacked the deck in favor of nations who defend themselves by running the Dictatorship module.

So while I respect your RL pro-Americanism, I wish you would check it at the eDoor and join us in trying to make the wisest maneuvers possible for the best advantage of eUSA.
