What is a Community?

This article is directed to the God of eRepublik, the man known affectedly as Plato; which we all know is a 'metaphorical personification' of the Group we all know as Admin. I began this game back in December of 2009, during that time span I witnessed the probably the best thing Plato ever did for this game with 'eRepublik Rising'; I also witnessed the incrediblely stupid selfishness of a community unwilling to grow who demanded basically the game we see before us presently.

Recently I stepped away from the eRepublik.

Today as the chronometer rolled over to 00:01, one of the oldest and most powerful American Private Military Units, heeded the calls to seceding from the 'Meta Government'; heeded the calls for an 'in game' Congress where the voice of the People may be heard and where that voice may effect 'in game' changes. Not 'in game' changes 'Dictated' by an outside forum, which is controlled by one faction of citizens who pay for and therefore control; but by those citizens who still actually play eRepublik and not 'eUSA Forum'.
